| Advantages of Core-Twisted Yarns over Other Yarns. |

Being mostly double yarn, it can be used with equal ease both for warp and weft in weaving. |

Double twisted yarns give a much superior feel to the fabrics than single yarns. |
|
The yarns can be easily produced with any resultant count giving maximum flexibility in design of fabrics. |
|
Dyed yarns in as many shades and even in smaller quantities are easy to make. Since single dyed yarns are used as raw material, the risks associated with dying of stretchable yarns is eliminated. Dyeing of stretchable yarns often gives colour variations and other problems. |
|
All types of spun & filament yarns can be combined with Lycra® on this twisting system. Thus any fabric woven or knitted that has ever been made can be designed and produced to have stretchable properties. The degree of stretch can also be controlled. |

No need for unwanted yarns to be present in the fabrics. Nylon covered Lycra® is sometimes used in machines which are not equipped to handle bare Lycra®. This results in unwanted Nylon in the fabrics. |

Stretch fabrics made from core-twisted yarns gives long lasting stretch because Lycra in the core is not twisted. |
